A Dark Diwali |
When
festival was in the air,
Shopping and joy was every where,
The splinters flied
And no one was spared.
Some died, many cried,
Inside the rubbles everyone tried,
to catch a glimpse of their loved ones,
A disaster had struck and the joy was
gone.
Died some body's mother,
father,sister or son,
Terrorism and hatred!,
see what we have done!.
A thousand lamps are lit
and celebrated victory of joy over sorrow,
But friends, we are heading
towards a gloomy and dark tomorrow,
Now,I lit a lone some lamp
and shed my tears for the departed soul.
please don't repeat this,
terrorism and hatred is not our goal.
Can we all give it a try,
so that neither parents nor children cry,
Can the touch of humanity wipe away every
tear
can we remove sorrow and make our earth
free from fear.
(This poem is dedicated to the souls of
the departed; on this Diwali eve when
terrorists struck the streets of New Delhi
leaving behind the dark side of humanity.)

VACATION |
Hey
You,Where are you?
We have been
looking for you.
Winter is here
But you are no where.
Exams are over,Classes
are through
Results for some,Is
a dream come true.
Assignments and late
nights
Make such a frightful
sight.
Distant places and
pleasant sights
Beaches,hills and
windy nights
Enid Blyton by my
side
Everything will stop,both
time and tide
Hey You,Where are you?
Mr.Vacation…….We
have been looking for you.
